Well, the first thing to do when you get an error message, is click "details of the error report", and tell us what it says there.

We need the "App name" and the "Mod Name".

I also have some general tips for you:

Shut down Internet Explorer and Outlook Express.
Go to Control Panel/Internet, and clear your temporary Internet Files.
Click 'delete cookies'.
Also clear your History.
Go to the 'Content' tab, click 'Autocomplete', and clear your forms and passwords cache.

Now go to the Advanced tab, and click Restore Defaults.
Go to the Security tab > Internet, and click restore defaults there as well.

Empty the entire contents of your Windows\Temp folder, and empty your recycle bin.

Also disable unneeded stuff from Startup:

Go to Start > Run > Msconfig, uncheck everything unneeded from the Startup tab.
Here's a good reference list with info about what to leave, and what to uncheck: <a target="_blank" href=http://www.pacs-portal.co.uk/startup_pages/startup_full.htm>Startups - full list</a>

In case of doubt about whether something really needs to be there, don't hesitate to ask.

And run Ad-Aware to scan for spyware/foistware programs:

Download and install <a target="_blank" href=http://www.jamcomputerservices.com/lavasoft/aaw.exe>the program </a> . It scans your system for spyware.

Run Ad-Aware, have your drives and registry scanned for spyware, click Continue, check all found files and reg keys, hit 'Backup', click continue again , and have everything removed.

Finally, run an online virusscan at <a target="_blank" href=http://housecall.antivirus.com/pc_housecall/>Trend Micro HouseCall</a>

Reboot one last time.

NOTE: should you have Ad-Aware installed already, and it's a version prior to v 5.80, you MUST uninstall it first, before installing the new version.
