I have created an eCommerce Web site using frames. A "top frame" provides navigation. A "main frame" provides content. There are three SSL secured areas to this site. The "top frame" always remains outside the secured area; while the "main frame" does all the secure processing. IE (version 6.0 at least) does not like this. It seems to look at the "top frame" as a "third party" - and restricts cookies, etc, accordingly. Also, it does not display the "lock" icon. If I open the "main frame" as a stand-alone page, all security seems to process correctly.
What is happening here? Is there some way to work around this without removing the frames?
Any help would be much appreciated,
Jerry.
