l have an OEM version of WINME (4.90.3000 ).When l reinstall windows and go to the Microsoft product update site it has a download for system restore saying there is a problem with the algorithm and it can't recognise dates after Sept 2001.
l know this is true because l've had this problem with system restore which is cured after the download.What l want to know is,
1- Would it be possible to alter any settings to cure the problem myself.
2- When the support for WINME from Microsoft starts to be withdrawn (which l think starts this year) does anyone know if Microsoft will still provide this download.
