How do you remove a quarantined virus? (W98)

I have been asked several times recently "how do you delete or remove a virus from the hard disk that has been quarntined by anti virus software"?

Is this possible or is reformatting the only way?

Most likly you have to start your anti virus software, enter the quarantine log/report, select the item in quarantine and delete it from there. No need to format anything.

At me the case was when I could not remove a file that was infected by virus with the help of an antivirus and antivirus did not allow to remove it manually. It was necessary to shut down all antivirus applications and delete file manualy. To whom it is interesting: a virus - I.WORM.KLEZ an antivirus - AntiViral Toollkit Pro
