We are running Windows NT 4.0 Terminal Server. I added a registry entry in HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE to restrict certain features in IE 5.5 SP2. When users initially login they do not get the restrictions, but when they go out and come back into IE the restrictions take affect. Does anyone know why this is happening? Here is the registry entry I made:
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Int ernet Explorer\Toolbars]
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Int ernet Explorer\Toolbars\Restrictions]
"NoAddressBar"=dword:00000001
"NoToolbarCustomize"=dword:00000001
"NoToolbar"=dword:00000001
"NoToolbarOptions"=dword:00000001
"NoLinksBar"=dword:00000001
"NoBandCustomize"=dword:00000001
