Want to hide System Bar Settings (W98)

I wanna hide the system bar icons from the task bar.

Suppose, if I install a software for remotely accessing a PC(a softwafare like VNC) and I dont want my users to know that and dont want them to change its settings, how can I change it from the registry settings, or by any other means, if possible.

I noticed your problem with VNC well i got the tridia vnc and there is a disable icon registry entry for that
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\ORL\WinVNC3]
"DisableTrayIcon"=dword:00000001

however as far as i know this only works with tridia and not vnc

Can u pls tell me if we can hide the software (TridiaVNC) from the start&gt;Programs also.
Bcoz users can see that it is installed on the system.
I want to hide that tooo.
