Hello,

Anyone here know how to turn off/disable the message box in Internet explorer which you get when you turned of ActiveX and java.
Whenever I go to a site which has java I get a popup box with the following message : "Your current security settings prohibit running ActiveX controls on this page, as a result this page might not display correctly"

I don't wanna use activeX so how do I get rid of this annoying message from IE?
Is there any registry tweak or configuration I have to do?

Many thnks in advance,

Tech

I'm guessing your a techy so i wont patronise you!
Ha ha
Can't you just mark the sites you want to use as trusted or is that no what you want to happen?? If you do this then the box will only appear on untrusted site. OOH make sure you use the wild card in the list of trusted sites
e.g if you want to make all microsoft sites trusted then use HTTPS://*.microsoft and then click add!
