Any way to get the screensaver to activate with a one-click shortcut without a 3rd party application?

Well, it's 2 clicks but you could go into Windows/System32, find a .scr file [screensaver], right-click it and Send To, Desktop as shortcut.

Humm....
I was expecting the Welcome Screen to display after the screensaver is de-activated.
It is selected in the screensaver settings in 'Display'.
any idea if this is possible?

The shortcut way is by-passing the built-in security/log-on features of WinXP and all the settings that control the Welcome/password screen.
