I noticed the last time I imaged my HD that Windows XP was installing new hardware even
though I had not added any. I determined that a program was installing itself and I can not
prevent it. I tried booting in Safe Mode and it still installed. The last line of the install log is:
Device install of STORAGE\VOLUME\1&30A96598&0&SIGNATURE20622061OFFSET7E00LENGTH1F58A00" finished successfully.
Other info is:

Anyone have any idea of what this program is supossed to do or how I can prevent it from installing? I have searched Microsoft and the Net but no hits have come back. I am wondering if the security on my computer has been compromised. Thanks for any ideas.
