PC Anywhere 10.0. Is there a reg hack to make a the host appear invisible on the host machine?

I have found that the best way to eliminate system tray icons it to use Resource Hacker to erase the icons from the executables or dll's. All the programs I have done this to have never raised a fuss about it yet. A couple went ahead an put a blank, but fully functional, icon in the tray, but most won't put anything in the tray after being neutered thusly.

Thanks Josh! Cool program! Where do you find the tray icons at? I've looked around in the pcanywhere folder... I can't find the host anywhere..Thanks!

In Resource Hacker open the executable file of the program you want to modify, or the *.dll files that the program uses, there will be an Explorer-style directory tree with a folder named "Icons". The icons you are looking for will be in there. Find the icon the app is putting in the system tray and right click on the name in the left-hand frame and choose "Delete resource" from the context menu.
