Has anyone had trouble with the partition magic software, when run all that appears is the following
pmagic9x has caused an error in pmagix9x.exe, program will now close
then the following message
"init failed error 20. The library or the partition is not open"
I have tried reinstalling, disabling bios virus protection, recreating the mbr, disable anti virus s/w, but the error still appears. I have run scandisk (standard not thorough), still this error occurs, has anyone got any other suggestions. Maybe i should try a thorough scan, i dont think this will help though??
The program works fine when using the rescue diskettes in dos, but i dont really want to be using them everytime i have to use the program.
