Registry Question (W2K)

Hello,

I'm installing a programme with the user account having administrator privileges with all default values. When I run this programme it display "Cannot read from registry HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\...".

The above message does not come if I run using "administrator" login. Any help is appreciate.

The user does not have permission to make changes to the registry. If you want to install a program while the user account is logged on, right click on the file while holding the right shift key down and choose Run As... Then supply the local administrator account and password in order for it to install.
