Securing registry keys (WNT)

I need some advice regarding the securing of registry keys i.e. limiting those who can read / write various elements of the registry.

I know this is possible but i don't know how. Any ideas.

have a look at regedt32.exe and then the security tab

Cheers for that, I've been using regedit, but i assume the permissions set in regedt32 are transferable.
