safest way to install poledit

I found a zip file to download poledit but I do not know where to download it too or save it to on my hard drive. I know it is not on my Win98 CD so does it matter where I install it? Please help me out here.

There should be a Help file for it; I would think. Just create an empty folder to unzip it to and check the Readme file.

You can save poledit anywhere - Im surprised its not on your win 98 cd. Run the disc and select Browse this cd, next find this directory:-Tools\Reskit\Netadmin\Poledit here you should find poledit and the neccessary template files for it to run. Cheers
