lost file (WME)

i put a file in my briefcase then i press update all before i had connected my laptop now i can not find the file any suggestions

If you had your PC and Laptop connected together and put a file in your brifcase (of your PC) and chose the 'Syncronise' option - the file should get transfered from your pc to laptop.
-Is it that this file is now missing in your briefcase on both your PC and Laptop?

yeah thats right but because i forgot to connect the laptop it never reached it. And now its disappeared completely
