dial up on start problem (W98)

Hey folks!
Got a problem here:
After running a downloader prog for a movie (please spare me with any morality issues, I already regret it), and after having some troubles deleting it (but finally I could delete it) my machine tries to connect to the net on startup.
When I close the dialog it tries again after a few seconds.
I tried to clean up everything I could think of, ran a virus check, and removed some keys from the registry that made no sense to me.
Prob is still there, and I still suspect it is something in the registry.
So I if anybody has a clue or suggestions...

can you go type up your start up list in here?
go to:
start>run> type 'msconfig' and press enter

go to the 'startup' tab

type the names of the programs in here, every item that is 'checked'.
