I have wiped out a computer that had 2 partitions on one hard drive. I want to repartition the drive to have only one (15gb) c drive. Fdisk won't let me create a primary partition larger than 8 gb however, and I think I remember reading somewhere it's because some bios can't boot drives larger than that. Are there any bios I can get (download, whatever) that would supposrt a larger drive like that?

You need atleast Windows 95B. 95a will not support FAT32 which is also what you need to recognize drives larger than 8gig. If you meet this then you'll need to see if there is a BIOS Flash for your motherboard.

If you know the model we may be able to help.
