My specs are=pentiumII\500mhz\256ram\60gbhdd\and the bios is=Award ModularBios v4.51 pg- Awardplug and play Bios Exptention VIOA. And here is my problem: the Mobo manual says that the Bios internal core speed sould be set at at least 350MHZ, but in my computer Bios setting the internl core speed is set for 233MHZ, so I went to the Bios setup and I've tried to change this setting to at least 350 mhz or higher ? but I couldn't at all I tryed all kind of key strokes the arrows up\down enter etc.etc and no luck, at the right corner of the bios setup there are instructions about the arrows up,down etc, that is clear, but the pu\pd\+\-: modify, I don't understand that instruction, so I generally need to know from a knowledgeble party is: what is overclocking and how to use the key stokes to change the settings please let me know thank you!!

Is your Ram DDR or not.
And which clock speed are you trying to change. If it is the CPU internal clock speed you may need to change settings or jumpers on the Motherboard. However I cant remember the exact phrasing but you shouldn't always be able to change the one for the ram.
What does your second screen say. There should be a message saying PROCESSOR CLOCK 500 MHz Or words to that effect
Answer to what is overclocking, Overclocking is a very trick and dangerous balancing act. You basicly push your processor to it's limits before it burns out. Or worse.
'Its tricky OOOOOOOOh its tricky' said the bloodhound gang!!

pu\pd\+\- Means use PageUp & PageDown to change a SELECTED entry. So, you look for the right entry using the arrow keys, change the entry using PageUp & PageDown. (You're going to be selecting from a list.)
NOW!!!
No offense, if you want to overclock your computer, READ A LOT more on it first. If your head doesn't hurt, you didn't read enough!
Otherwise, you may find yourself replacing both your proccessor and your, ahem, mobo.
p.s. don't try to be l33t before yer time, you can't shortcut the process...
