outlook 2002 (WME)

Have microsoft office 2000 and installed outlook 2002. Since installing have been unable to send or receive email from my ISP. Have checked ISP and all is okay at there end,I hookup but get a error message 0x80040154 at hookup and send. Worked find before installing outlook 2002 now receive email by web mail.

'MVIGS - Sending and Receiving' reported reeor (0x80040154) : 'Unknown Error 0x80040154'

This is all the message said; I have tried everthing, example checked Microsoft support articles and updated to (10.3513.3501)SP-1. Have removed Outlook 2002 and reinstalled Office 2000 with outlook 2000, outlook 2000 worked fine before installing outlook 2002 but now both 2000 or 2002 when reinstalled do not work. I am guessing but believe outlook deleted something from the registry before completely installed leaving something missing in the registry so I can not send or receive mail ,all the rest of outlook 2002 works fine. I sure hope you can help.
