NetZero rearranging desktop icons. (W98)

My sister is using NetZero free internet and every time she moves the banner to the bottom or top of her screen it rearranges all of the icons on her desktop. Is there any way to prevent this?

Beyond this, that is the price you pay for free service. You have to turn over control of your display to the ISP software. TANSTAAFL.

Something that might work, but may not be practical in any case: Turn the resolution up on your video then move your icons so you have a wide enough blank space at the top and bottom of the desktop to accomodate the banner. Maybe if the banner has plenty of room it won't mess with your icons. I say this because I have had a problem with my icons getting rearranged when I turn my resolution down too much. There isn't enough room for my icons to be spread out like I had them and the computer takes it upon itsself to rearange them for me. When I turn the resolution back up and there is plenty of room it leaves everything alone.
