Stop CDDB

whenever i play audio cds with my winamp...it automatically search for CDDB and trying to connect to the internet.....how to disable it.........

In version 2.8, choose File>options>Preferences. Choose Input under the Plug-ins section, select the (CDDB2) entry, choose Configure and uncheck Use CDDB. Have you already tried this?

Or tell Winamp there simply is no net connection.

In Winamp's preferences:
setup>
check 'no internet connection available'
uncheck 'check for newer versions'
uncheck 'allow winamp to send... blah blah'

If you're using the minibrowser, disable it.
