I make changes to my registry, but they don't stick. I reboot and it's just like I never did them. Mainly the one with auto login is the most noticeable, but other's also are not applying,,any ideals.

How can I become so smart and still feel dumb when it comes to IT.

Post the details of what keys you are changing including the full path e.g. HKLM\system\etc...
