I know, I know...I'm going to get exiled for even mentioning Mac on here, but I'm wondering if it's possible to install Mac OSX on a seperate partition; would I then be able to choose at startup the OS to boot? It'd be nice to be able to have the option.

Thanks

No, the Mac uses different 'machine language', handles hardware differently. You might try for an emulator but I haven't heard of a good one.

The next version of Apple's OS is supposed to support x86 architecture boards as well. I think that is what the poster was asking about.

But not OSX which is of course Mac only OS.

Could be. I vaguely remember something was in the works a few years back but it didn't work out, maybe next they'll get it right.
