Office 97 (W98)

I am trying to uninstall Office 97 off of a computer.
In the process I get prompted to insert the First disk, which is O.K, but from their it tells me that their was an Initilization error can't find this file rpscnt97.opc. I know you propably haft to have the Original disk but is their a registry hack. So you can put any Office 97 disk in the computer and uninstall? Please any response will be greatly appreciated!!! P.S. If you don't understand my question just let me know!!!
