Open Access with Explorer (W2K)

I have created a simple web page using FrontPage. I created a Hover button to open an Access database. If i follow the hyperlink within Frontpage the database opens correctly. When i publish the web page and click on the button i get a "you are downloading the file xxx.mdb" message. When i click open i am prompted for the database password which i enter then nothing happens. Access never opens. Any ideas??

ACL restrictions on Access or the file in question? That behavior sounds common when you don't have permission to open an app. Windows just goes through the motions like nothing's wrong but won't do what you tell it.
