Hi...
Is there a way to configure a Windows 2000 computer name to include spaces maybe thru the registry?

Ok,
When you relate to a Windows 2000 computer name, do you mean, one on a Network? or one on a Stand-Alone? or one through MMC?
Well, the way, Im looking at it is if you want to rename the "Active Computer" is:
Logon as Administrator, right click My Computer\Properties\Network Identification\ click the Properties button and follow on screen instructions.
[If this is what you meant, then the simple answer is NO.] When you give your computer a name here, you can't put any spaces.
If you want to edit the registry by including names and spaces as such you can; with "String Values" or if your intending to make a reg script, just put the ; on the start of a new line.
Hope this helps
