This applies to NT, 2K & XP
When running a DOS application, if it is in a window (ie NOT full-screen), it is very, very slow. I presume that has something to do with a background task not being given sufficient resources, and is therefore "choked down". Are there any settings that can be changed to improve the performance of such applications?
