Power Point 2000 (WNT)

I'm having problems getting Powerpoint to accept the regional settings. I have changed them through the control panel and have set them as default but powerpoint still uses the old regional settings when running a spell check. any help apperciated

I am usinf Powerpoint 97, but I think 2000 will still have similar options. Go to TOOLS and Select LANGUAGE. Click on the language you want and click on DEFAULT to make the language the default language. hope this helps.

I have tried this already and it didn't help, I've since reinstalled office with different settings and it has solved my problem, thanks for the help
