At work we have about 100 telemarketers running the same exe from an app server on our win2k network. The problem is that if the programmer wants to delete the exe or replace it with an updated one he cannot untill every closes the program. So we have to go to each machine and make sure that the program is not running. With 100 machines that is a severe pain in the butt. I want to know if there is anyway in windows that I can see everyone who is running that exe or acessing the machine the exe is on from my computer in my office? That would make my life much easier. Thanks.

On the server desktop, right-click on My Computer and choose Manage from the menu. In the console that pops up go to Computer Management (local) > System Tools > Shared Folders > Sessions and highlight the folder with the file in question. In the right hand pane you will see a list of all the users connected to that folder. Right click in a blank area of the pane and you can choose to disconnect all sessions.
