Registry entry disappears

Hi,
My name is Siva R Cherukupally,
We have recently intsalled a product named HITOLEDB on two
of our servers. On one server every now and then the
registry entry disappears from the registry and causing
the malfunction of HITOLEDB. The same software works fine
from other machine. I would appreciate if some one explain
me why the registry entries disappear from the registry.
