"Create a Useful Name for My Computer" is failure (W2K)

I try the "Create a Useful Name for My Computer" on http://www.winguides.com/registry/display.php/370/ is not working on W2K system.

Any suggestion?

I had the same frustration. You have to go into regedt32 and search for 20d04fe0-3aea-1069-a2d8-08002b3039d. That's where you create the new LocalizedString. Call it LocalizedString.new
Then go into regedit and go into the same key. Rename LocalizedString to LocalizedString.old and change LocalizedString.new to LocalizedString.
