They have no idea [they say... loll]. I've spent the better part of three days trying to find the remnants of a previous Beta install and remove it, so that I can properly install a full version and TECH department "Say" they have no clue [or at least won't admit to] how to do it. Since I'm a software writer [in my spare time] and I write scripting for a living, you would think I could do this in my sleep [which I could with ANY other software]. Evidently these people have concerns about security that cause them to do unorthadox things when installing registry markers that cause problems on reinstall, and as a 10 year tech I can't find them. I finally gave up after they simply refused to tell me where and what they did. I spoke with the head of their support on thep hone and he was talking with the development guys, and I knew they knew the answer to this constant issue, yet they refused to help and played like they didn't understand what I was saying. I finally gave up and requested a refund, which I'm confident will take weeks and weeks, and multiple requests, since they refuse to respond to 75% of my email. I think this has something to do with the chain of command which goes through another continment where Indiana Jones had many adventures, and where Buddah is very, very popular, although they profess to be 100% in Australia. Santa's coming soon too...

Hi Patrik,
The license code cannot be removed from an uninstall of Spyware Doctor as it has been stored in your registry.
You do not need to re-enter your license code to use the fully functional version of Spyware Doctor if you have already registered once.
If you click on Help/About, this will display your license code, if this displays your license code, it means you have fully functional version running. If your license code is not displayed, you will need to re-enter this information. Make sure you stay up to date with the latest version and perform a Smart Update on a regular basis to stay recent with the intelli-signatures and tools.
ModelTDesign - If you are having problems with your refund, you will need to contact support as they will help you with the progress. You should receive your refund within 10days if your order is valid and within 30 days of purchase.

I am not a computer expert, but I do not understand this. Most software companies create an uninstall tool that COMPLETELY removes all traces of their program from your system. Other companies tech support departments have sent this to me upon request.
PC Tools does not have a similar tool or are they simply unwilling to give it out?
