ok a program was working
then i tried a registry fixing software to clean up operations
now the program doesn't work
i don't remember what went on in the registry fixer
but i might've deleted something (smart)

my ?
would a registry problem disable one program and not others ,and should i try the "last working registry "thing

If a key has been deleted that the one program requires then, yes the cleaning operation could only affect one program. Does the cleaning program provide an undo?

If you are talking about reverting to the last known good then this will not work unless you have not rebooted since you did the registry clean. The last known good is overwritten every time you log in.
