still having difficulty

Hi all.
Thanks for your help, but I am still having problems with getting a shortcup on my desktop that actually works. Also, all of a sudden, I cannot view anything in My C:. All other drives and network drives are fine, AND, I can view this missing drive in Explorer ? Any thoughts ?

I'm not sure what post you're expanding on regarding the shortcut issue.

As far as the C: drive issue goes, lemme see if I understand:
Opening "My Computer" reveals all drives, networked or not, including files--except for "C:"
Opening explorer reveals all drives, etc, including C:???

Only thought I have is maybe you checked off box to display drive C under TweakUI's "My Computer" tab.
