Urgent - Boot Problems (W2K)

I have a problem in one computer running windows 2000.
One: The computer reboots after two or tree minutes running

2- In i shut down or make a reboot he suts down but go to a black screen with the cursor in the top.

If anybody knows the solution to these 2 problems let me know, please.

Your system settings are set to automatically reboot, whenever it encounters a system error; change your settings, so the system waits for you to direct it when it encounters an error.

On 2, is that the only thing you get a cursor blinking in the upper left corner. Will it boot to NT at all? If it does not you may have a disk problem but I didn't quite understand you description.

On 1, you might want to ensure your services do not have the setting to reboot on failed service startups. Services, servicename, properties.
