Hi all. I am deaf and dumb in VB. Now i loaded VB 5.0 in my system and i would like to learn the VB myself without any others help. I have the net connection 24 hrs round the clock,7 days. So can anyone plz help me that how can i learn VB myself?? Urgent Help is appriciated whole heartedly...Thanq one and all..

I would recommend starting with VB6 if you can get a copy of it. If not VB5 will do but you will find that the majority of tutorials and books reference VB6. When I first started VB6 I purchased a book called Microsoft Visual Basic 6 Professional (Step by step) by Michael Halvarson and it was an excellent start.

VB is the easiest programming language. I learned in just 1 month, and made some awesome programs!! and posted on the download.com And you can go to www.free-ed.net to learn it or buy a book called step by step to learn vb. soemthing like that. It's very simple. Some book comes with the program, but no compiler. If you have a full version, you can even compile and package. It's pretty cool
