How to setup network (All)

I have 2PCs one is win98 and other win2000.
I got 2 NIC & Hub connected through cable.
What settings need to share internet and devices.

Easy.. just make sure too things
one. the network drivers are installed
then, add the tcp/ip portocol
and assign the address as 192.168.0.1
subnet 255.255.255.0
and other one is 192.168.0.2
subnet 255.255.255.0


this is called peer to peer.
you dont need gateway or dns
then you can connect them

of course, you can use netbios, but tcp/ip is most convenient way.

however, you don't even need hub because of only 2 pcs. You can just use a cross over rj45 cable and that will work too. of course buy a hub is better, you can add on pc later..
