Set the Default Dial-up connection (W98)

I am designing an application to create a Dial-up connection and make it "as default" in IE4 and IE5.
But how can I make a connection "as default" in IE5 and how can i set a Dialup connection for IE4?

A dial-up connection to where?

Is this with or without the user's permission?

i mean dial-up networking... dialup to the internet...
with user permisson...
users execute my application and their dialup settings should be set up automatically.
my application should do these settings:

1. Create a dial-up connection
2. set it as default dial-up connection
3. set the username,password and Domain (IE5)
4. set the proxy settings (if needed)

But i can't find anything about the Default
Conection of IE in registery..
I need the username and password and specially
the Domain settings too.
