Hi. I'm new to the forum and have a question/problem with my cable connection. I have a Motorola Surfboard and connection through my cable co. I repeatedly have to reboot my system to keep my connection open. The cable company tells me that sometimes Windows 98 isn't able to recognize the IP address when they change it and that's why I have to reboot. I'm pretty sure that's a copout answer but I'm also thinking that there may be some setting that I'm missing on my system that could fix it. Any ideas? Thanks much.
