IE is creating temporary internet files on desktop (WME)

Instead of creating them in the temporary internet files folder or the windows temp folder they are being created on my desktop. I assume this is a simply registry setting, but I can't find it. Any suggestions?

Have a look here:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Curre ntVersion\Explorer\Shell Folders

Look in the right pane for the String Value named Cache
what is its value?

Mine for example is
C:\WINDOWS\Temporary Internet Files

Start Internet Explorer.

On the Tools menu, click Internet Options.

On the General tab, click Settings.

Click Move Folder. Choose c:\windows and click Apply, then OK. Restart, then delete all folders from the desktop.
