Damaged OCX file (WME)

Today I discovered a damaged OCX system (MSCOMCTL.OCX)
My OS is OK........however.....do I need to delete/replace??

The MSCOMCTL.OCX is a visual basic active X component that provides access to the Microsoft common controls library. Any application that requires that active X control will not work correctly. If the file is damaged you would be best to replace it.
