Hi there can anyone please tell me what the following Text files are forr in the windows folder
Win98SE I want to see if they're needed
brndlog.txt
Ndislog.txt
wplog.txt

If you are curious to see what is in them, open each one with Notepad. TXT files can usually be deleted, but they take up very little space, so I would just leave them alone.

Brndlog.txt is the branding log, which is created, I believe, when you repair or upgrade IE.

I think it checks whether there's any form of ISP branding, and makes sure these settings are transported into the new installation.

Ndislog.txt:

On a Windows 98 system connected to a network, Io.sys loads real-mode network components and validates the binding. If any errors are encountered during this procedure, Windows 98 records them in the Ndislog.txt file.

Wplog.txt isnt a Windows file, but belongs to WordPerfect, I believe.
