Hi, I am using word 2002 with windows XP & outlook Express. How can I send an email from word, when I try nothing happens..the email tool is not highlighted. I can e-mail from Publisher. Also when I right click on a page to e-mail, the box comes up asking to allow windows to resize etc. which I click but nothing happens.

Check in Tools=>Internet Options, Programs, E-Mail = Outlook Express
Check in Tools=>Options in Outlook Express itself to see if it too shows that Outlook Express is the default mail program.

Hi... both options have Outlook Express as the mail program..Originally I could not make Outlook Express the default mail handler through the normal ways and you gave me a command to enter into the Registry, which I did and it worked..would this have something to do with my problem

All I could find Noddy was this from POBrien

I can't speak for them but hopefully the tweak was correct. I have neither XP nor Word 2002 but I am using Outlook Express. Sorry the suggestions did not help your problem. If I notice anything I will post it. Good Luck
