Hello,
I have IE5 installed and had to use Netscape for a little while for a project. That install made Netscape my default browser. Now that Netscape has been uninstalled there seems to be no default browser. A Web link in e-mail will not even attempt to open a browser session. Is there a registry key that I can change to make IE open when a link is clicked?
Thank you.

watson,
if Netscape was used and then u choose IE it should ask do you want to make IE your default browser, if not go to tools>internet options>programs and at the bottom put a tick in the box which says IE should check to see if it is the default browser.

Dank is right, also go to Tools>Interent Options, click the Program tab and select Outlook Express under the drop-down e-mail box.

Also open Windows Explorer, go to View>Folder Options, click the File Types tab, scroll through the list looking for Netscape Hypertext Document and click the Remove button.
