Win Media Player - PBC (WXP)

When my friend watching a VCD on her laptop for a 15 minutes time, a message pop-up asking her to turn PBC (play back control) off (in order to continue watching), anyone know how to turn it off? and why would such notification appears? I only see the PBC option in my Sony VCD player (built-in in a mini HIFI), never in a computer.

on the HiFi system (or remote) there is a button that does that ..usually "PBC" or "VCD Menu" I am not sure
