Every time I click on a folder a new window opens. I've set the checkbox in Folder Options>Views to "Open Each Folder In The Same Window" but it won't listen. If I click on the folders in the Explorer bar this doesn't happen. Where in the registry can I adjust this manually?

I posted the answer in jedinyt's post, I just assumed you might read it, whoops:-
Open up you registry and go to these two places:-
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Directory\shell
HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\Drive\shell
and double-click the (Default) in the right hand side and type:-
none

Ah, well at least I saved one person the trouble of a re-install. Glad to help as always.
