First, thanks for posting your browser hijacking resource on the web. The
information given has proven most beneficial in correcting my recent
hijacking. I have, I hope, eradicated my particular hijacking but wanted to
let you know about a twist that I didn't see on your web page (<a target="_blank" href=http://www.spywareinfo.com/hijacked.html>http://www.spywareinfo.com/hijacked.html</a>). That twist
being that lop.com hijacked my proxy settings and disabled the "Dial-up and
Virtual Private Network settings" frame of settings on the "Connections" tab
of the "Internet Properties Dialog box. I've included screen shots of the
appropriate windows so you know what I'm talking about. I reset my proxy
settings with little difficulty but haven't been able to get the frame
re-enabled. If and when I figure the registry adjustments they used for
this I'll let you know. If you figure it please let me know. Again, thank
you for your efforts.

OK, what do I tell him? I've never seen this one.

I forgot to mention, he's deleted both restrictions and the control panel key under HKEY_CURRENT_USER\software\policies\microsoft\inte rnet explorer\ in the registry already, so it's somewhere else.
