Here's one. Visio file is open, Windows crashes in the middle of your session. Reboot. ....Your Visio File is Toast. Visio doesn't recognize your file as a Visio File and you can't get it back. Any thoughts.. just throwing it out there. An error (100) occurred during the action Open File. Visio cannot open the file because it's not a Visio file. Disappointed, lost data.

unfortunately theres not an awful lot you can do here, if the file didn't save correctly then you kinda stuck. you could try to name the corect as a visio type, or you could look through the temp dir and the swafile for your missing info.
