Excellent, I'm, using it right now.

I really like the idea of being always updated. I also like the View Online and Search Tweaks features.

No, no-one is asking you to pay for tweaks, the site is still free and always has been.

But for those people that would like software, no adverts, guide downloads, discounts on subscriptions then we do offer the premium option.

Please contact me if you'd like further details.

What is the cost, like $21 per year?
Best money I have spent in a long time!

I'm impressed. Now, does this Tweek 1.0 contain all the tweeks/tips etc. contained in the registry and security guides? Can I remove those programs and now work completely from the Tweak Manager? Can I keep my shakey fingers out of my registry and let Mr. Manager take care of things?

Thanks! The Tweak Manager currently contains about 75% of tweaks from the registry guide, I'm still porting some of the older tweaks over but they should be completed shortly (and will download through live update once completed). The main benefit of this program is to allow you to manage all the registry tweaks with a simple GUI rather than manually editing the registry!

Also, this program is designed to go side-by-side with the guide rather than replace it. That way you can use the nice GUI or get into the registry if you prefer. It's totally up to you!

Great idea, Simon.

Really nifty if you want to test some tweaks real fast.

One little problem though:

I installed, registered and updated Tweak Manager this morning.
So far, so good.

One hour ago I ran the update utility again, and it went through the motions, but probably didn't find anything new.
As a result however, my left pane was completely empty.
I do suppose that if the update utility doesn't find anything to update, it at least knows it should leave things that are already in there alone.

I removed it and reinstalled, and everything's fine again.

Is this something you've experienced yourself, or is it something I did?

Yep, that's a bug /images/forums/icons/wink.gif or "a feature". The fix should be ready in about 15 minutes!

Is the Tweak Manager only going to use the tweaks that work with ALL OS's? I cannot distinguish one from the other, so I am assuming if it is in Tweak Manager, it will work on MY machine. Am I correct?

Yes, Tweak Manager detects your Windows version and only displays those that are applicable to it. Therefore if it is displayed then you can use it on your machine.
