Word 97 (WNT)

When opening word for the first time after restarting the machine and logging on I am prompted to save changes to Normal.dot, it will not prompt me thereafter no matter how many times I open or close Word. I have checked the setting under Tools/options/save and the "Prompt to save Normal template" is not ticked . PLease help its driving me crazy....?

Thanks for the effort Simon, but I am running a NT o/s with Word97.

My 2 cents worth [not worth a lot?], I had Word 97 on both Win95 and WinNT4 and it worked the same on both. [Exchange kinda went away with Win98/2000.] Win95 and NT worked quite similarly so the tip should work too.
